Hello, My name is Fermin Trueba. I am a current special education major, and I strongly believe in a Liberal Educational system. In my further blogs you will be reading about my personal views on education, in which I am inspired by one of my professors Molly Swick, whom has taught me the ideal philosophies in which future teachers should follow, and the Humanistic presence one must have in the classroom.

Very interesting post. I will be interested in your future postings. You've interested me into looking further into the Humanistic presence in a classroom. - Shannon Turner

i was very intriquied by your post. i am relatively unaware of the teaching styles you speak of in your blog and i will be interested in reading your future posts. are these approaches you speak of widely used in schools today? Or are they more of a relatively new or unused idea that has yet to gain acceptance by most traditional school systems?- Ryan Huels

I had her last year as an Education for Agent for change teacher. She was one of the best teachers that I had. She taught me so much and about the many views that world had. The views that she will teach you will take you past college and into the real world. Take every word that she has to say and embrace it. I would love to hear some of the interesting items that you have learned in her class and compare.

I am very interested to read about your blogs because me being a teacher I love to learn more about everything. I am currently in EPFE 201 also and I love the topics in that class you learn so much! I am very interested to hear how your teacher has inspired you too! I heard all about Molly Swick and how good of a teacher she is, unfortunately I was not able to get into her class. But I am excited to hear some of the things she taught you that have inspired you. -Amelia Arce

I am actually taking EPFE 201 this semester with Molly Swick. I really enjoy her class and I would strongly recommend taking her class. The views of thinking critical that she teaches you will use it in college and into the real world. - Hemal Patel

I have heard the same things as Hemal has mentioned from one of my friend about the EPFE 201. I am planning on taking this class in upcoming semester. After reading these comments and getting the feedback from my friends, I am really excited to take this class.

EPFE 201 is a class that I am also currently taking, but with a different instructor. It is one of my favorite classes because it is taught very differently than any other course I have taken and gives alot of information and discussion on issues that I will face as a teacher.- Ryan Huels

I would love to hear more about your stance on the different teaching styles. Your post has made me want to research the different styles more myself. How accepted are the different teaching styles in public and private schools?

I believe it is important to have some background in philsophy because if you just except everything you hear as the truth then no one would know what is what.
